New Nimbus T8 – 2026

The Nimbus T8 is a compact yet powerful tender style open day boat, intended for day-to-day cruising activities and water sports. With its newly developed air-lubricated stepped hull, the T8 has excellent seafaring qualities and a low planing threshold. It has a stable, safe and quiet performance, even in poor weather conditions, and has a cruising speed of between 20-35 knot and a maximum speed of in excess of 40 knots.

The T8 has a wide walk-around deck design which allows for maximum freedom of movement and makes it easier for passengers to board and de-board. On the foredeck is a sunbed which provides lounging space for 4 people and conceals a large loading hatch with access to the cabin for easy loading. Reversible helm seats and a mounted retractable table allow for a dining area for five people in three easy movements. The aft sofa accommodates 6 people, 3 facing aft and3 facing the forward. The backrest on the aft sofa can be set to three different positions depending on intended use –seating while underway (upright position), aft lounge sofa (angled) or full sunbed (folded down).

Offering ultimate manoeuvrability, smart design, and overnight accommodation for two in the comfortable cabin, the T8 is a perfect balance of day boating fun and function and a worthy choice for owners who enjoy a more active driving style.

This new 2026 model will be arriving. She will be fitted with an upgraded single 300hp Mercury Verado V8 outboard and has a long list of extras that includes the option T-Top, teak deck, cockpit fridge, bow thruster, windlass, roof racks and much more. She will also have the benefit of a two year manufacturer’s warranty.
